Blos by Slide. Designed by Karim Rashid and produced by SLIDE, Blos is a seat that successfully blends tradition and modernity.


Mastering the use of polyethylene foam worked with the rotational mould technique, the Cairo-born designer re-invents the classic concept of a rocking chair. Sinuous design and audacity of forms mark all his creations, blending into a youthful, avant-garde furnishing item.

With registered headquarters and production premises just outside Milan, Slide produces polyethylene furniture with an ironic design, characterised by an exceptional use of light and ideal for setting up indoor/outdoor spaces and events. Slide is a thoroughbred Italian company, a medium businesses heralding Made in Italy products on the international market. The Slide production encompasses seats, tables, lamps, pots and complements. Items often spring from collaborations with internationally acclaimed designers including Karim Rashid, Marcel Wanders, Paola Navone, Marc Sadler, Alessandro Mendini. Thanks to rotational moulding techniques and the implementation of only one material, Slide products are 100% recyclable.
