With Abstract Optical clock by Lignis, a classic piece of abstract art from the Sixties undergoes a special restyling. Myriads of details are created by our selected types of real wood, adding dynamism to the optical illusion effect which distinguishes this range.

This beautiful wall clock is made of inlayed wood: a single piece of wood veneer,  jointed to the others with patience and ability, corresponds to each different color on the panel. 0,6 mm thin veneers are chosen one by one basing on the grain characteristics and on the most suitable colors. With the precision of the laser cut the pieces of wood are cut out and then joined together by hand, like a puzzle, respecting the sense of the wood grain. The surface is refined, polished and brushed by hand, and finally mat finished with a water-based paint.

 

Abstract is designed for those in search of furnishing accessories that stand out from the crowd. The original designs and the color block contrasts create highly visual graphic effects. Abstract offers a range of items combining a distinctive style with a strong personality, without excesses.
