LANIFICIO LEO - Lana Blanket
Lana blanket by Lanificio Leo is a jacquard knit plaid with a piqué weaving technique.
Lana is a plaid whose pattern reproduces a Greek cross inspired by the plant from the Cattolica di Stilo (RC), a tiny Byzantine church set on the side of Monte Consolino in Calabria in the South of Italy. The theme of the Greek cross and its recurrence in space is also a metaphor for an inner journey in Calabria, where suffering and joy are captured and where wonderful landscapes alternate with wounds caused to the territory.
