Sled Chair by Slide, created by the eclectic designer Karim Rashid, is a modern reinterpretation of the classical cantilever chair characterised by the use of new and innovative materials. Sled is an original and versatile armchair, with clean lines and a spacious seat: its sleek shape and the continuity of the outline, which give up the support of the rear legs, give the chair lightness and flexibility typical for a cantilever chair. 

The seat is realised in soft polyurethane, with the injection moulding technology, and is integrated with a metal frame to give better robustness. The metallic chassis is in the same colour as the seat.

With registered headquarters and production premises just outside Milan, Slide produces polyethylene furniture with an ironic design, characterised by an exceptional use of light and ideal for setting up indoor/outdoor spaces and events. Slide is a thoroughbred Italian company, a medium businesses heralding Made in Italy products on the international market. The Slide production encompasses seats, tables, lamps, pots and complements. Items often spring from collaborations with internationally acclaimed designers including Karim Rashid, Marcel Wanders, Paola Navone, Marc Sadler, Alessandro Mendini. Thanks to rotational moulding techniques and the implementation of only one material, Slide products are 100% recyclable.
