RIZMA - Impronte Silk Ecoprint Cushion

Impronte by Rizma is a silk satin cushion cover with polychromatic design made using the Ecoprint natural dyeing technique.

Each color corresponds to the imprint released by the dyeing material which, arranged randomly on the textile support, gives life to multiple textures. For this reason all the fabrics are strictly unique pieces.  These cushions with their precious look give a touch of elegance to any interior.

DIMENSIONS: 45CM (W) x 45CM (H)

MATERIAL: 100% Silk Satin. Most used dye materials: madder roots, onion skins, marigold flowers.

CARE FOR TEXTILES: Wash by hand in cold water with neutral soap - Dry away from direct sunlight - Iron on reverse.

HANDMADE by the designer in her studio in Sicily. Each piece will show chromatic variations due to its exclusively handcrafted nature. Cushion pad not included.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Rizma is a brand born in 2014 by an idea of Bruna Cattano, architect and textile artist who from early on has been approaching the field of independent design.

Officially launched in December 2016 with the opening in Palermo of INSULA Studio, Rizma is developing a research that deals in textile design using varied approaches from blockprinting and screenprinting to natural dyeing. The aim is always to find a meeting point between traditional techniques and contemporary sensibility.

Bruna lives between Palermo and the countryside where she continues to develop her project with perseverance focusing on an ongoing research, always looking for new techniques, independent creative processes and new ways to hybridize her modus operandi.
