Pensieri Blanket by Lanificio Leo is a plaid-tapestry in jacquard knit with a piqué weaving technique.

Pensieri is the name of a collection of plaid tapestries. It comes from a play on words that emphasizes the value of the raw material by evoking the Latin etymology of the term "pensum" which meant the quantity of wool entrusted to the spinners.

An invitation to think freely following the lines of the drawing which, seen closely, appear as hand-made graphic strokes on a neutral background. As in the preparatory sinopias of the ancient frescoes, it was decided to renounce color to highlight the sign, intense as a human gesture. And, as in a contemporary triptych, the collection is made up of three independent but modular elements.

The vaguely surrealist iconographic story describes Calabria according to a horizontal and vertical reading that connects its paradigms: experienced orography, cultivated nature and intrinsic archeology.
